Been coming to La Parrilla since High school 80's. Always delicious & consistent. I Moved out of area, it's been over 15 yrs since I've ate @ La Parrilla. I came w/ a friend for lunch. I talked this place up & was hoping it was still delicious as i remember. Walking in is so festive w/ decor, bright colors, lights, murals & pictures on wall. Just need some mariachi music to bring it all together. You can see lady making fresh handmade tortillas as you walk in. La Parrilla did NOT disappoint! My friend was impressed said she will be back to taste other dishes. She was reminded of her home town in Mexico, she felt she was transported back in time. Our Server had the entire restaurant & was hustling! Very friendly & attentive. She did the best she could. Understandable. They need another server for lunch rush. La Parrilla is on a busy street parking available behind restaurant. Thx La Parrilla for keeping it authentic & delicious!

I grew up in the Los Angeles area. There are a thousand Mexican restaurants. I have a very short list of 5-6 that are my gotta go to places. La Parilla is definitely on that near if not #1 in LA and on my list. The food is phenomenal! There isn't a bad dish! People visiting LA and want authentic Mexican dining you will not be disappointed. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy park in the back. You will thank me later.

The food here is delicious and the staff is very accommodating. I'd recommend coming here to eat. Sadly, I didn't get a pic of the food but the experience was great just like the food.

My good friend had told me to visit this place on my trip to LA said it was one of his favorites growing up. After eating there I can see why. It was a busy day but our service was very nice and attentive to us. The decor here was beautiful and had such a next Mexican flair. I forget the name of my order but it came with half a chicken, asada, potatoes, rice, and beans. The chicken was soft and flavorful but the asada wow! It had so much flavor ive eaten this many time and many different place and this has got to me the best i have tasted. To top it off they had freshly heated corn tortillas. I highly recommend this place and cant wait to go back myself.

This place was packed with people, and it took a while for us to get our food. Thankfully, when we got the food, we realized why it was so busy. I got the Enchiladas Suizas or Green Enchiladas and an Agua De Tamarindo. They gave us a little bowl of sopita as an appetizer, and it was so delicious; It brought me back to my childhood. My Enchiladas were perfect, and I even ate most of my beans (I hate beans, lol). The restaurant looks like a Mexican house with all the unique colors and wall paintings. It was such a good meal. The salsa they gave us with the chips was delicious and smokey, but the spice definitely crept up and lingered. The pricing was fair as it was roughly $45 for 2 of us. I would likely go again with more time to ensure we don't feel upset over the wait time for the food.

Went in for breakfast. Got seated quickly. Ordered our food, but it did take awhile. Food was so good! I ordered the chilaquiles and my friend ordered another plate, I can't think of the name but will post a pic. Her plate was good too... I had a piece of her meat. Anyway... the tortilla was good too! They are homemade! So good! I can eat like 5 of them with beans alone! I'm not a coffee person but I did try my friends cafe de olla and it was good... my friend says it's the best coffee ever! She had 3 cups! Definitely coming back to try more off their menu! Ambiance was cute... lots of colorful decorations! Loved it!
